Adopting a Friend

The adoption fee is $117.00 for a dog and $80.00 for a cat. The fee covers the adoption, city licence, the first round of shots, heath checkup at the the local vet, $50 voucher for a dog or a $30 voucher for a cat which is good towards the price of getting them spayed or neutered, 1 month of ShelterCare Pet insurance for $1, Home Again Microchip, the first year of registration and a starter kit. We do our best to keep these list of animals up to date but it is difficult so if you do not see what you are looking for here, please call us or better yet stop by.

ONE IN THREE PETS WILL GET LOST IN ITS LIFE!!!Always keep tags on your pets, not only does it help to identify them, but it also makes sure they get medical attention if they get in an accident. Vets won't treat strays that don't have tags.

We are currently in need of a veterinarian weight scale and medication to treat kennel cough. Though we have a great staff capable of administering the medication to the animals, we don't have the funding for the supplies listed above.We could also use a Tag making machine as our town is with out one.

Big ones, small ones, tall cats, short dogs....Come and see and if you're interested in one of our adoptable friends, we are more than happy to assist you. There is a fenced area where you and a dog can get acquainted, also a cat room for you to see the purr-fect pet. We do, however, caution you to watch your children. Thank you.

We serve the city of 29 Palms, providing adoption services, care for abandoned animals and education for the community. Our mission is to find homes for all orphaned animals.

Pets must be 8 weeks or older.
Pregnant or "in-heat" females can safely be spayed.
Includes basic vaccinations & rabies for dogs.

Our hours are Tuesday to Friday 12PM to 5PM and Saturday 11AM to 2PM. We are closed Sunday and Monday. For an after hour emergency please call the Sheriffs Dept. at 367-9544.
